Privacy Policy

This policy separates the public website from the desktop app, because those surfaces handle different kinds of information.

Plain-language launch policy. This is the working privacy policy for launch and should receive legal review before paid public distribution. It is written to be readable before it is lawyerly.

Website Privacy

The website exists to explain AstrologyGround, show product proof, and point visitors to launch or download information. Hosting providers may process ordinary technical information needed to serve the site, such as request time, browser type, and network metadata.

Website Analytics

We use Umami for cookieless website analytics. It helps us understand which pages are visited and whether the site is working well, without advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

App Privacy

The desktop app uses Birth Data to create your natal chart and show live transits. Birth data stays local on your device. App privacy is separate from website analytics, and website analytics are not used to read or infer your birth chart.

Marketing Contact Data

Launch email capture is not enabled yet. If it is added later, email should be the only required field, with Windows or macOS interest kept optional. Read the Terms of Service or the product story for context on how AstrologyGround is positioned.
